BLACKBURN SOUTH SHARPS
are the infamous "Sharpie" gang from the 1970's that have featured in many TV documentaries and photo exhibitions around the world as a result of Larry Jenkins snapshots taken with his 8mm pocket camera of his fellow gang members as the adolescent boys roamed the streets of Melbourne striking fear and awe into the hearts of their rivals and foes with their unique dress style and haircut that was distinctly Melbourne.
Part of the gang’s defining "look" was their custom designed, made to order striped cardigans that they all wore as part of the "Sharpie" uniform. These cardigans are authentic reproductions of the original design, custom made in 1974 for Bill Sharp No1, the leader of the "BLACKBURN STH SHARPS".
This patented design garment is officially authorised and approved by Larry Jenkins and has been personally
endorsed by the leader of the gang himself,
Larry Jenkins aka Bill Sharp No1.
To ensure your purchase is the genuine article, each cardigan
